.31 caliber percussion, pocket revolver (almost identical to the James Warner model of 1857), 3" round barrel marked CHARLES WARNER. WINDSOR LOCKS, CONN. About 600 were made.

It is not known if there were any relationship between them. Though the both revolvers were similar, there are many differences between them, which indicate separate manufacturing facilities.

Charles revolver has the cylinder stop on the top of the frame and James underneath. Three instead of six groove rifeling and different attachment for the handspring.

Windsor Locks ia about 20 miles from Springfield whe James Warner had his factory.
